The ‘OS Plumbing’ project aims to enlarge the notion of modular design.
Constructions out of bended tubes are conventionally welded and therefore are not dismountable or reusable in another but the given form. The OS Plumbing set instead consists out of bended and straight, pre-perforated metal tubes. These parts allow the assembly of numerous tubular structures that can be endlessly reconfigured. Instead of being disposed, unintended puzzles and patchworks will evolve over time, structures will mutate and grow according to new users and new functions.
